Cycling tourism to golf, enjoying the environment and food and wine specialities as you go.

Summer in Pozzolengo this year is teeming with interesting events and ideas for both residents and tourists, starting with the weekly cycling and cycling tourism event.

The tours, which enable those taking part to learn about the historical and cultural assets, the excellent food and wine products and the natural wonders of the town, will take place every week. The route changes each time and includes stop agricultural farms, with tasting sessions and samples. Salami DeCO. (with municipal designation of origin), local biscuits and wines (Tugana and many other), saffron and honey, the characteristic products of Pozzolengo.

The tour is free of charge, suitable for everyone and consists in a bike ride lasting around3 hours. The event always takes place on Thursdays from 4.30 p.m meet in the Via Marconi car park (near the cemetery). This small town also boasts prestigious facilities, for example the Chervo Golf resort, which offers a 38-hole course suitable for both champions and amateurs. Built on the moraine hills in the Garda hinterland, the resort attracts many guests, offering hospitality, charm and culture.

Alongside the sports events, several exhibitions are staged in the town. You will be able to admire the exposition dedicated to food and nutrition, inspired by the Food Expo, until 18 July, while from 19 July to August the theme will be “Garda ambiente territori unici” (the unique territories of Garda).

Golf lovers will enjoy the Ciak Roncato 2015 on 12 July and the “Circuito golf e sapori” event combining Golf Course and flavours on Sunday 26.

The Iron Race challenge will take place every Thursday in July. But there are many more attractions in store this summer, for the Festa dell’ospite, a festival for guests, which continues until this evening (5 July). Organised on the initiative of Polisportiva, the event offers music and cuisine on the sports centre premises.
