A feste with two traditions, one religious and one folklore.

The religious is that ‘Festa dell’anitra’ is to celebrate, St. John the Baptist the patron Saint of Capolaterra, which is a small suburb of Desenzano. The folklore refers to the fact that at this is the time of year the ducks are ready for slaughter, and it was customary for to donate to his master.

Entertainment includes: sports tournaments, exhibitions, singing competitions, trails for children, shows, music and the of course dining with chance to sample local specialties.
