The 50th anniversary year of the famous rowing competition of the traditional Lake Garda long boats (Bisse)

The annual rowing competition of ‘Palio Remiero delle Bisse’.

The traditional Lake Garda flat bottomed longboats date back to Republic of Venice, compete for the ‘Bandiera del Lago’.

There are 24 teams representing Bardolino, Cassone, Clusane, Desenzano, Garda, Gardone Riviera, Gargnano, Lazise, ​​Monte Isola Peschiera, Portese, Sirmione e Torri del Benaco.

The Championship kicks off June 10 in Lazise.
