Vinitaly 2017: The largest event dedicated to the world of wine: business, internationalisation and training!

This year is the 51th edition of Vinitaly, the most important wine tasting event on the Italian wine tasting calendar. The 2016 event was the 50th anniversary year and was said to be the best so far. It hosted 130,000 professional visitors from 140 countries, and 4,100 exhibitors from 30 countries housed. Foreign attendance accounted for nearly 50,000 people, 28,000 of which were accredited buyers. US buyers increased by 25% over last year’s Vinitaly..

The four day event includes meetings, tastings and targeted workshops to encourage contacts between exhibiting cellars and trade operators, together with an impressive convention programme discussing and analysing topics associated with supply and demand in Italy, Europe and the rest of the world.
