Peracque – Cuel

Drive to Tormini which is above Salo. When you arrive at the roundabout take the turning for Gavardo and after about 50m turn right and once over the bridge right again. You will soon be driving up the mountain, when you arrive at a fork you need to take the left turn for Peracque. Follow the road all the way up until you arrive at a carpark in Peracque where the tarmac road comes to an end. You will be at a viewpoint with fantastic views of Lake Garda.

Follow the track around the contour of the mountain until you come to the pass where there is an old derelict rustico. Follow the track to the right and when it forks take the left path. Follow the track up, until it come to a T junction then turn left. Walk past the old rustico and keep following the path until you come out into the clearing which id Cuel.

You will arrive in a clearing with fantastic views across to the moungains of the pre-alps. You will another old rustico and standing next to it a very large and very old tree which is thought to be 500 years old.
