Lake Garda is a photographers paradise and with the iconic Riva boat as a prop you couldn’t conceive a more perfect setting for a photo shoot to showcase any wedding dress. This would be especially true for Stephanie Allin’s Bellissimo collection which was inspired by luxury glamour and sophistication with an Italian edge.

We were contacted by Gerry Allin, Stephanie’s partner, who had an idea for ‘top level photoshoot’.

Of course we were only too happy to help and with our partner Paolo and his Aquariva boat, we were able to create an idyllic setting for Stephanie’s team to compliment her stunning Vania dress. After the shoot we heard back from Gerry:

The Bellissimo Collection shoot was strongly inspired by the effortless glamour portrayed by French and Italian Cinema in the 60’s. The Vania dress epitomises this style, with the perfect balance between glamour and romance.

We were especially lucky to find a company who allowed us to photograph our model in their Aquariva speedboat. We could not have secured this amazing opportunity without the help of Roy and his Love Lake Garda website.

I had hoped for a quick set of fashion shots near the harbour jetty but the boat captain Paulo was more than happy to race us across the lake at full tilt. The Italians know how to do things with a bit of style. What a pleasure to remember while sitting in the interminable cold and rain of the UK.
