Salo’s weekly calendar in August is overwflowing with regular entertainment, dancing on Tuesday, aperitivo on Thursday and live music concerts on Saturday.
From 9pm til midnight on August 6th, 20th and 27th, the Piazza Vittoria becomes a stage welcoming anyone who wants todance the famous Argentinian Milonga. The evenings will be directed by the maestro Mario Valdini who will be helped by a team professional dancers and teachers who will be on hand to help polish your dancing skills.
Happy Blue Hour has become such a popular event that numerous imitations have caused the Municipality to consider registering a trademark. From 6.30pm on every Thursdays throughout the month and into September, the restaurants and bars of Salo spill out on to the streets. Customised bars offering special aperitivi are interspersed by musicians and bands playing live music and creating an atmosphere that will add a new dimension to your holiday.

August will end and a new month begin with a ‘Big Bang’ on Sunday September 1st. At 11pm a firework display, which is expected to be particularly atmospheric, will launched from the center of the gulf. By taking advantage of the natural amphitheatre it will be possible to watch the ‘spettacolo’ from all part of the town.
I am travelling to Salo Lake Garda for 30th October for a long weekend with my girlfriends and was just wondering if there are any plans for music etc programmed for this weekend. We were over in Salo in August and really enjoyed the ‘Happy Blue-hour’ entertainment on the lake.
Kind regards,
Margaret
