Bogliaco Golf Resort with it’s friendly and relaxed atmosphere was the third ever golf course to be built in Italy. Situated high on a plateau 100 metres above Lake Garda it offers spectacular view of almost the entire length of lake and the mountains beyond.
The pretty and beautifully kept course is laid out in an L shape, amidst oleander, cypress, olive trees, laurel and small lakes. Although not very long, the well manicured fairways are narrow and so provide an excellent test for golfers to play with precison.
The clubhouse was originally built in 1912 building, with just two rooms, one to throw your bags in and one a bar. It is now a stylish, warm, friendly and relaxed bar and restaurant, with a beatiful view of the lake….the perfect 19th.

Founded in 1912 and regularly extended since then, Bogliaco now has 18 holes par 69. It is relatively short but one of the tightest courses in the area and it is remarkably difficult to score well there (at least for me!). You should also be prepared for some uphill and downhill walking on the front nine. It has some of the best views of Lake Garda, especially from the signature 5th tee, is not expensive, and the food in the clubhouse is good with friendly service.
