Profumi di mosto

As autumn approaches so arrives “Profumi di Mosto” (Scents of the must), a gourmet event which celebrates the harvest in the vinyards of Valtènesi on the coast of Lake Garda, Brescia. This Lake Garda wine tasting event is one of the most popular in the Lombardy region
.
23 cantinas open their cellars to the thirteenth edition of “Profumi di Mosto”. Participants can visit them in three attractive routes in the hills of the Brescian Valtenesi region of Lake Garda. Routes run from Desenzano to Puegnago, through the countryside municipalities  of Calvagese, Bedizzole and Polpenazze and also Moniga, Manerba, Padenghe and San Felice.

Each cantina will offer tastings of wine produced predominantly from grapes of native Groppello, combined with traditional dishes of Brescia, offered in collaboration with the chefs of local restaurants or matched with gastronomic specialities of the Cantina.

Visitors will be able to deal directly with the producers and improve their knowledge of the fantastic wine producers of the Valtènesi.

All the wines of “Profumi di Mosto” will also be available for tasting in the Oasi VALTENESI, tasting event organized for the whole day in Puegnago del Garda in Villa Galnica, headquarters of the Consortium Valtènesi

If you are lucky enough to be in the Lake Garda region this weekend then you shouldn’t miss this event.
