What we think

The restaurant is situated down an ‘easy to miss’ turning opposite the Hotel Florida Residence. As you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a white ‘baby’ grand piano, and that’s what this restaurant is grand. It oozes class and good taste and is at the fine dining end of the scale, but it is not pretentious and the owners and staff couldn’t be any friendlier. A romantic lakeside setting in Gardone, you must treat yourself to this restaurant for a special occasion.

As you walk in to the restaurant you immediately know that you are in a special place. The decor is is classy but it is this restaurants stunning lakeside location with views across to the La Rocca (the Rock of Manerba) which really grabs your attention. If you book early you can dine al fresco on the patio and soak up the special atmosphere, but even if you have to dine inside the large windows that open on to the lake slide back to give you that out door feeling.

I have been a few times to this restaurant, one of those times was for my nieces wedding. The place seems purpose built for weddings and special occasions. The service is first class, the waiters are attentive but never overbearing and the food is amazing. You definitely need to treat yourself to a meal at this place if you are in the area.

After reading your information site we made a point of booking Lido84 for our final night in Gardone. We could not thank you enough for this recommendation. It was the most romantic and special way to end our time here. Location is the best for being private, exclusive, elegant yet so warm in welcome and extremely romantic. Our meals were outstanding and I enjoyed the entire relaxed meal without feeling rushed nor watched- yet every time we wanted any minor attention an attentive waiter was by our side to pour wine, remove plates or offer conversation of our questions. Excellent English spoken and a truly elegant display of not only the Gardone region but what I will always remember Italy as. Booking two days in advance definitely allowed us a premium table also- worth noting that this restaurant deserves to be pre booked. Although they beautifully cared for people who simply walked in unannounced also. But our positioning of table definitely enhanced the whole experience. We will return to Lake Garda and especially Lido84.
